I would recommend that you locate a dealer who will let you audition
the Electro for a few days and AB it with the CX-3. That's the only
way you are going to know if its right for you.

I like the (tweaked) Leslie sim on the CX-3 much better than the
Electro. The Electro has an excellent slow speed but IMO the fast
speed is not as good as the Korg. I like to hear more spinning up and
spinning down and the Electro goes too quickly in and out of fast
speed. And once the Electro is in fast speed I just don't like it as
much as the CX-3. Its too much like an electronic effect to me. I
realized that if I got an Electro the first thing I would do would be
to start looking into getting a Leslie 145.

So the original question was sound versus weight. To me it would be
trading a heavy keyboard for a much lighter one and then adding the
weight of a Leslie! Or wait and see what shows up on the next Electro
software upgrade - maybe the Leslie sim will be improved.
