Actually I believe that the VK7 controls the drawbars on my B4 by way
of midi channels. I can't set the cc numbers on the VK7 but I can
set the channel and the VK7 does control the drawbars on the B4
exactly. IF you have the midi channel number correct. In my B4 you
can set whatever midi number you want.
As for switching sim speed, v/c and perc. the VK7 switches do not
send mdid cc #'s.
I just bought a Behringer FCB1010 to control my B4 switches. The
only problem is that the 1010 is damn near impossible to figure out
since it has almost no display and the instructions are VERY vague.
It's not like Behringer at all and this piece is NOT in the least bit
intuitive so that it could be useful to someone who doesn't
understand all of the hidden programming features. I'm on the verge
of sending it back because no one at Behringer answered my e-mail
request for more programming info and everything I've been able to
put my hands on has been no better than the User's book that came
with it. And that thing is worthless. They did include printed
material in every language BUT Swahili.
Too bad I'm not a left-brained engineer or I'd probably be using it
right now.
