The A-33 has buttons for UPPER and LOWER. Select either one and the Volume slider controls volume for that part of the split. The A-33 gives you a good amount of control and can store different configurations in presets, but if you're look ing for a 'piano' feel, it's not the greatest (imho).

I've been seraching the archives in vain as it seems I remember
something about being unable to control the volume of splits
independently on this keyboard? Is this true? Does this apply to the
A37 as well? Anyone with an A-37 comment on a difference on feel from
the previous models? Does the A-30 make a good controller? These
questions would pertain to controlling a V5 module. Thanks.
