Deep cycle (simular to car) battery gives 12 volts. Then for 9v you can get cig. lighter plug with regulator for 9v. Probably should use 12 volt regulator for the 12. Bill O.

Subject: [CWSG] Battery power vs wall-warts (outdoors)
Does anyone have experience or knowledge of a battery power solution
for 9v and 12v DC sound modules and controllers to use minus wall-
warts? This is for outdoor playing where there's no AC - parks,
beaches, camping, events with limited AC. Crate makes a couple of
rechargeable battery powered amps; there's a few others. I haven't
been able to find anything to provide juice in place of the usual
wall-warts of a MIDI keyboard and sound module.
