Subject:Speakeasy question
I am playing at the annual "Moon-the-Amtrak" party tomorrow and want
to protect my gear (Speakeasy Pedal in particular) from the
inevitable beer spilling drinking crowd this thing has. The SE also
controls a PRO3T. The Band sets up on the floor - no stage -and it
is always packed to the gills with people right up to the band.
There are another 200-300 people who gather outside of the club,
which is conveniently located directly across from train tracks.
This is how it works. There is a train schedule posted and every
time a passing train goes by, most of the crowd runs up to the tracks
and drops trou for the passengers. CNN usually sends a camera
crew. I've gotten so accustomed to the SE that I can't leave it at
home, but I am thinking of putting it in a ziplock. I am concerned
about heat, though. Any thoughts? I have a gig later that night on
a stage, but want my SE to be in good shape for that one as well.
I've played this gig for several years, but this is the first since
getting the SE.
Thanks!
Albert
