I wouldn't mess around with Y-connectors. A small stereo mixer should work very well for you.

I use a Behringer UB-802. It's got 8-10 line inputs (4 of these are 2 stereo-pairs) 3 band EQ, and you'll have lots of gain to drive the SE, (which I understand they like that :) You probably don't even need to worry about FX sends, if you're using the keys internal FX. Plus, you know have capabilities to feed a house PA a stereo balanced feed.

Cost - $130. Cdn.

Subject: [CWSG] Running CX3 and piano thru a Speakeasy

My rig consists of a Korg CX3, Alesis QS8 (used mostly for the
acoustic piano), stereo Speakeasy rackmount, and 2 Roland KC500s. I
am running the CX3 thru both sides of the SE to the KC500s and the
QS8 direct to the 500s. Could I use a mixer to route both the CX3
and the QS8 thru the SE and still preserve the stereo effects for
both keyboards when they reach the 500s? I am not sure what kinds of
capabilities mixers have using effects in/out, aux in/out, etc.

If this is possible, what would be a good choice in the < $200 price
range? I was looking at possibly a Mackie DFX6, but I am woefully
lacking in expertise in this area.

TIA for any suggestions!
