I have never had the chance to try out a VK7 or VK8 other than at the local music store. I thought that they all used the same 'engine' but as I'm beginning to find out, each variant had modifications from the last. So maybe the Leslie sim on the VR760 is different (not necessarily better!) to the VK7-VK8.

Here is the list of Organ parameters that are adjustable and can be saved unique to each patch (registration in Roland speak).

Octave shift
Fine Tune
Leakage Level
Key click on level
Key click off level
Perc soft level
Perc normal level
Perc fast time
Perc recharge time
Perc H-Bar level (difference between drawbars volume and perc volume)
Overdrive level
Rotory Woofer spread
Rotory Tweeter spread
Rotory Woofer level
Rotory Tweeter level
Rotory Woofer rise time
Rotory Tweeter rise level
Rotory Woofer fall time
Rotory Tweeter fall time
Rotory Woofer slow speed
Rotory Tweeter slow speed
Rotory Woofer fast speed
Rotory Tweeter fast speed
Rotory mic distance (from 'leslie')
Reverb send

On the front panel and adjustable during live performance are:-
9 Drawbars
Vibrato: V1, V2, V3
Chorus: C1, C2, C3
Percussion: 2nd, 3rd, soft, fast/slow
Amp sim: overdrive, amp type x4
Rotory: on/off, brake, slow/fast
Organ volume
Tonewheel type: 60's, 70's, clean

Theory is that somewhere in all this is a usable (doesn't have to be earth shattering) lesie sim.

Is this list consistent with the parameters etc on the VK7, VK8

This is interesting, Carl. I found I could only tolerate the VK7 leslie sim (on fast) with vibrato/chorus on.
