I don't know if this is the same problem, but I shipped a bass to a fellow
in the UK last September--it never got there. He said UK Customs wrote him
a letter in january--they had a package for him, but no Customs declaration
attached. They wanted info on the contents. He never heard another word.
USPS finally let me submit a claim in June on the insurance, after taking 4
months to investigate. I still haven't got any money out of them.

The poor guy paid me $520 last August, and still has nothing to show for it!
