Yes, it's a stripped-down version of a CMS-161, pretty-much (the controls
work the same way as documented in the CMS-161 manual). I picked up one cheap
at Sam Ash not long ago, after I sold my CX-3. It's a lot lighter than my
Yamaha keyboard for when I travel, esp if I'm going to use it only to drive
the B-4. Interesting enough, there wasn't a manual in my case, just a
joystick MIDI cable and a couple of CD's (Cubasis etc) - I had the impression
it was actually an old discontinued product till I saw this post.
I sometimes wonder if I'm going to regret selling the CX-3. I don't regret
losing the size and weight, however - IMHO the Electro's biggest shortcoming.
I'm not gonna run out and get a Nord (yet), although prices for Electro Mod
1's are almost as low as Electro 2 Racks.
