I have a Hammond C-3 pedalboard for which I built a freestanding
MIDI interface. This is just like playing the real thing, and it
has velocity built in for triggering other sounds.

Can you please share more info on this. What products did you purchase to do this? It transmits velocity, not just note on, note off???
