I live in the States, but I got my Electro 73 in Canada. I live near the border, and there are no US cities around. I got it at Steve's Music in Ottawa and the service, etc. was absolutely wonderful. I have (luckily) had no trouble with it, but if I were to have, I have complete faith that Steve's would take care of it completely!

Subject: [CWSG] Nord (specifically Electro) distribution/support in Canada

Based on the numerous positive reviews I've seen on the Nord Electro 2 (and
a recent but brief time spent playing a floor model) I'm *that much closer*
to taking the plunge and picking up an Electro 2. However, I have also
noticed that numerous owners have gone through multiple units before the got
one that didn't have some minor (or not so minor) manufacturing defect. This
isn't enough on it's own to dissuade me from what seems to be, on all other
fronts, a great instrument.

Now to the heart of the matter. I've heard many here praising the efforts of
Armadillo in supporting the user base in the U.S., but can anyone speak to
the support here in Canada? I understand that Armadillo also supports us
Canucks, but I know there are numerous issues with cross-border support. Any
Canadian Nord owners on the list that could speak to this from experience?
Anyone from Armadillo?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Regards,
Rob
