Subject:Re: stand solutions suggestions?

Like Jim below I've tried them all as well. I think the worst one is the
Apex, picture this a drunk that tries to catch himself using the end of your
keyboard, no stability. I just recently purchased a 60" Standtastic that
holds from top to bottom, a NordLead 2, Korg CX-3(New one), & a Peavey DPM
C8. I like it and it is very solid, I don't know about the 30 second
setup/teardown they brag about though. It takes me a while longer due to the
closeness of the tears and the thumbscrews under the tiers that could
scratch up the boards. The only other stand I would praise would be the
Z-Series from Quiklok. They're limited to two only which is why I went to
the Standtastic. They're made well and I always left my setup and just
dropped it where I wanted it on the stage. I believe the adjustable model is
the Z-726 can be used sitting or standing. I guess I would have to say the
Invisible two tier is another option as long as you don't have a large board
on the bottom. They're hard to come by.
