Subject:And on a positive note ... lightening the load
Uplifting friends on the CWSG group,
Well after spraining my right forearm (it still hurts from an injury at
least 2 weeks ago) and injuring my drummer's back carrying my XK2 in its
safe-from-anything heavier-than-lead case with the handles on 90 degrees
wrong (total weight at least 90 lb), I have decided to lighten my load (at
least to weekly rehearsals -- we'll see about gigs later on if the sound is
right) and ordered an Electro and gig bag from BT. Plan to play it thru my
speakeasy and Leslies.
Since I play bass through another (also relatively light) keyboard, I hope
to split the output of the Electro so that the organ sounds go to the
speakeasy/Leslie but the piano sounds go to the power-amp/pre-amp/speaker
rig.
While this may be a little premature, since I don't have the unit yet, how
is this accomplished? On my Roland, I just pan sounds full left and full
right and use the stereo outputs as two mono signals. Any of you bi-amping
your E's?
