Subject:Hammond Perspective/Opinion/posting vaccine
Wow....thanks for taking the time to chill out. Nice
to be called STUPID....MINDLESS....IGNORANT, TIRESOME,
CLUELESS all in ONE posting! I can only imagine how
much more diplomatic you would have been had you just
responded off the cuff when you were originally
inspired to.
Yes, opinions ARE like assholes. But what happened to
the customer is always right (one of the great mantras
of the service industry, something Hammond-Suzuki and
you seem to have decided had reached its shelf life)?
Guess we are ignorant trapped in our own LITTLE
worlds. If you care so much about our mind numbing
tirades, why not educate us a little bit? If we are
so off base about the price of the new Hammond,
ENLIGHTEN us. If Hammond really cares about our
little niche market, the one that is so small that
Clavia, Korg, Roland, Voce seem to be going after, why
did they repeat the same beating problem in product
after product? I may sometimes make kneejerk
reactions (this probably being one of them, but
frankly it was the most insulting piece of writing I
had ever seen outside of a Yahoo gameroom, and this is
supposed to be a friendly group) but generally I try
to think things through before speaking on
it....although obviously, I must be a backwoods
hillrod in this case. I'm sorry, but when I say they
are openly dismissive of this little self-absorbed
group of inconsequential consumers, I stand by that
statement 100%. HS has been inflexible in dealing
with me personally, whether it was needing a part
yesterday, and being forced to wait for them to ship
it to my tech (as opposed to me picking it up),
in-house techs calling to respond to a problem (even
when my Hammond tech tried to make that call first),
and in their general disregard for the complaints of
their product from an apparently insignificant portion
of the buying public, one that was so unimportant to
them that they only came out with a string of products
NOT geared for the spiritual market, you know, those
XBs, XB2s, XK2s, XM1s. Those other companies like
Clavia must have skipped the economics and
manufacturing classes that Hammond attended, otherwise
Clavia wouldn't be issuing free software or sound
updates...I mean, thats NOT HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS!
Korg, issuing software revisions for their
organ....how ridiculous! Roland further refining
their product into even more affordable (and possibly
more appealing) formats?
Frankly, Mark, I was appalled at your posting. Nice
to be thought of as a whining, ignorant a-hole by
someone I've never met.
Thanks Buddy....
tony
PS...love to read something like this FIRST THING IN
THE MORNING. Truly sets the tone for the day. I just
have to wonder if you use the same tact in
re-educating some of the ignorant, clueless buyers for
the stores you rep to. If this group is not for the
"opinions" or rants or questions of its memebers,
maybe I joined the wrong group.
