Yes, the fact that the Electro is mono-timbral does indeed present
limitations.
Did something I said lead you to think that I had a work-around? Nope. My
Electro, like all of them, can only play one sound at a time. The organ
sound can be split and upper/lower receive MIDI on separate channels.
On the gig, I use the Electro 90% as an organ clone and the other 10% for
clav and EP sounds. My RD600 does all the other keyboard sounds other than
organ on the gig. The only time I really put the full range of Electro
sounds to use is during rehearsals, so I only carry that one small keyboard.

Eric, my understanding is that the Electro can't generate Rhodes and
Hammond sounds at the same time (short of buying two of them). Has
this not been an issue for you?
