Subject:Re: clone spotting (b4 and real b3) Clapton, Sancious, Preston dvd
In the Eric Clapton concert that was being shown on DirecTV last month Billy
Preston was playing the Hammond for almost everything. Halfway thru the
song he sang, he went out onto the stage to dance, but you could still hear
the sound of a Hammond. It was very puzzling until I noticed the other
keyboard player's setup included an LCD computer monitor which showed the B4
software running. It was way back in the mix compared to Billy Preston's
Hammond. I did not see a Leslie on his side of the stage, though. You
could see the Leslie on Billy's side of the stage--it was right behind him,
with the back side facing him, no back panel on the top section.
