Subject:clone spotting (b4 and real b3) Clapton, Sancious, Preston dvd

Went and got Clapton's new DVD somethin-somethin-Car is the title.
Not a fan of Clapton's new stuff but I love David Sancious and Billy
Preston.

Preston plays the b3 for most of the set and it's loud and sounds
great! One of the songs in the middle he switches to piano and
Sancious takes over on the b4 (assume it used a real leslie). It
really holds up pretty will, the only difference I heard was in the
mix not quite as out there as Preston.

One of the encores was Will It Go Round In Circles and Preston kicks
ass - he starts dancing around out front and Sancious takes over mid
song on the b4. It really doesn't miss a beat.

A controller with a monitor nearby showing drawbars just can't
compare to the beauty of the B3 though. but it's neat to compare the
two, worked pretty well.
