Stoo is dead on. A few months ago, I went into the
studio to record a handful of songs, piano-based. I
brought my Motif8 and my XV88. I much prefer the
Motif live, but in the studio, it sounded a little too
hyped to me, and the XV88 with the SRX card "Premier
Grand" sound was awesome. But live, the Motif works
better. Sort of the issues we talk about daily
concerning CX3/Electro/Hammond frequencies.
