Subject:NAMM revisited

Had a longer opportunity to play the Key 5 yesterday. I must state that
Dave Amels has done a fine job with this instrument. I think his choice
of the fatar keyboard was a very good one. It certainly feels better
than the new B3 keyboard and is quite easy to play. Again, the organ
sounded GREAT through the Leslie 147 that he has hooked up to it. But
the real amazing thing about this instrument is the weight (or lack
thereof)...

He went over the changes that will be in the production model and they
all make sense. He is moving the pitch/bend wheels to the top manual and
moving the Leslie controls down where we all like them. He will also be
putting an 11 pin Leslie output on the back of the organ.

60 lbs! Now if he only put his Spin Leslie simulator in it....
