Once again, I must mention one of my favorite Prog Rock artists,
Quartermass. For all the Hammond freaks on this list, make sure you
listen to this one. Peter Robinson was/is one of he finest Hammond
players out there. In fact, John Novello from Niacin mentions Peter as
one of his influences. He was also the organist on the original Jesus
Christ Superstar album and sang the roll of Simon on that record. Pick
up the Quartermass CD if possible, they only made one!

Progressive rock is the Shizzy~! I keep trying to
start a prog rock band here, but honestly, you can't
find anyone interested in doing it. The ones you can
find want to do it ala Dream Theatre, and while those
guys are pretty cool and talented, I prefer the
English version (post-Canterbury), with lush vocal
harmonies and musical textures (yes, genesis, tull).
Congrats to you on being able to find good players
with a desire to play like that! (even if I am a
little jealous!)
