Well, I'll stand corrected...but I still say 800Hz and below covers a
lot of the sound spectrum. Yes, the higher harmonics, as well as a
lot of the "fuzz"/noise around the sound that makes the Hammond sound
like a Hammond go out the horn. But what about all those tones below
G5/G#5? That's where 800 Hz is (well, between those two...unless my
math is just way off, which is possible), and the speaker they go
through gets a nice big resonating chamber.

So, when I say "most of the Hammond's sound" comes out through the
low end, I'm talking just about frequencies. Now, obviously, adding
in those higher drawbars puts you into the horn quite quickly, and
playing a group of notes anywhere in the normal playing range (in a
band setting) definitely gives you a higher percentage of sound
coming through the horn.

Anyway, I should've been clearer before...alas.. =)
