Subject:Re: Chop Shop
Chuck brings up a good point. In my case, both my
chopper and "portabalized" (that's my hammondstore
model) are able to be moved by me by myself. I built
a tray with wheels they sit in, and I built a ramp for
my van (2 4x8s with 2x4 guardrails, and a sheet of
plywood that sits across, and the whole ramp is in a
fixed position thanks to 4 bolts that just drop
through holes in the ramp, and 2 at the top that drop
through holes in the ramp and the floor of my van. 30
seconds to build or dismantle the ramp (3 pieces) and
it fits along the side of my van. I do need help
getting either organ on its stand, but it's a piece of
cake. Takes 2 minutes to wire up, and I'm OFF AND
RUNNING....or SPINNING as the case may be.
