Subject:Re: Chop Shop
I have two more recommendations on the chopper end:
Numerous Complaints out of Atlanta, GA. They do a
very interesting product. Their "flagship" as it were
is a ONE MANUAL Hammond that is the same size as the
top half of a Rhodes Suitcase, and less than 140 lbs.
You then put it on a double xframe stand and then you
have a very nice flat top surface for another
keyboard. I contacted them about doing that, but I
wanted the 2 keyboard version, which I got. They will
take the organ out of your furniture and put it in
their box. If you provide the organ and the furniture
is in nice shape, he will give you a hefty break on
the cost for the furniture. Also (and I LOVE THIS
PRODUCT!!!!) the MAN as far as I'm concerned is John
at The Hammond Store (hammondstore.com). Beautiful
work, meticulous, it comes with a stand that bolts in
(one bolt each side) that is seriously sturdy. Also
will work a fantastic deal with you if you provide the
organ. Check him out. If you need the phone number,
just contact me.
