Subject:What controller for Hammond clone?

Hi,

Years ago the Roland A-70 was mentioned here primarily for the Voce V3. I
bought one and at one time owned all the cards. I have been delighted with it
both as a controller and for its piano. Recently in a studio session I layed
down a track on a grand then had to dub over a solo. The engineer ( and we
know how a**l they can be) decided that the A-70 was a closer match to the
grand than my Motif 7, Kurzwil 2000s, Roland 1010 or the Roland RS9.
Anyway the touch is great although not too close to the hammond feel. As a
controller it is wide open to many configs.
While I'm here, I'd like to mention that I picked up a Dynocord CLS-222 and
IMHO sounds great. Matching it up to my new CX3 its hard to distingush between
them and the CLS-222 has more presence.

Again, we are all different in our opinions :)
