Subject: [CWSG] OT: Nord Lead vs. Waldorf

Hello fellow Cloners,

This is WAY OT, but since I know some of you use a Nord Lead in your rig, I
thought I'd ask this group anyway. I currently use a KORG CX-3
(w/Speakeasy) and a Kurzweil PC2R for all my meat and potato sounds, but I'd
like to add another module in my rack that will provide me with
easy-to-access fat leads and strange noises. I've been looking at both the
Nord Lead II or III rack and the Waldorf Micro Q rack and I'm leaning
towards the Waldorf for two reasons: less rack space and much less dollars.
Unfortunately, I don't live anywhere near a store that carries either of
these eclectic units to demo and so I would like to solicit comments from
any of y'all that are familiar with either one or both. Thanks in advance.
