Subject:Electro keyboard action

I received the message below from Clavia. Perhaps we can put the whole
keyboard action controversy to bed, but I would still like to learn more
about the CX3 v2 keyboard action. Based on Clavia's info, it does appear
that using stiffer key springs is the likely reason that the action feels so
vastly different.

Hi Eric,

I'm glad you like your Electro 73!
The Electro keyboard is built by Fatar according to our specifications. The
first Electro models had a little "lighter" action. Approximately six months
after the initial release of the Electro, we changed to a bit stiffer key
springs. I don't know what keyboard is used in the CX-3 but it might be
similar to the Electro keyboard.

Best regards

Fredrik, Clavia
