Nah, that's an urban legend. I don't think you'll have any problems with it
bowing. Some people have had proven issues with the veneer coming off on
the front rail when sitting on a Quik Lok stand for awhile. It is a pretty
solid board.

I would like to place my CX-3 v1 in my studio on a stand semi-
permanently. Someone posted a while back that his began bowing in the
middle. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
