Subject:Re: midi controllers with waterfall keys?

When I was in a music store trying out clones for keyboard feel, I
thought the VK-8 had the best organ feel of all clones, like Hammond
console keys.

BTW, I was watching an early 60s Duke Ellington concert on BET, and
Wild Bill Davis was a guest soloist with the band, and he played
Satin Doll on a B-3. Unbelievable technique, all octave block
chords, like Garner on piano, but much more legato. And it could
only be done on waterfall keys, as you could never make those
transitions on keys with lips.
