Well, I've been looking through my RD-700 manual for ways to use
expression pedal a la the real Hammond, and these are the two
options I found. I don't know how to distinguish between the two,
perhaps you guys can help:

The first is called the "Stereo Equalizer" and I can assign the
pedal to adjust the output level of the low, medium 1, medium 2, or
high frequency. Or I can set it to adjust the gain in the low,
medium 1, medium 2, or high frequency.

The second option I can assign the pedal to is called "Spectrum".
In the manual it is written:
"Spectrum is a type of filter which modifies the timbre by boosting
or cutting the level at specific frequencies. it is similar to an
equalizer, but has 8 frequency points fixed at locations most
suitable for adding character to the sound."
There are 9 choices for the settings. 8 of them deal specifically
with adjusting the gain of the 8 frequency points
(250,500,1000,1250,2000,3150,4000,8000 Hz). The last one is a Q
setting which simultanewously adjusts the width of the adjusted
areas for all the frequency bands.

Since I can't make too much sense out of all this, my question is to
you guys, which setting would seem the most representative of the
actual Hammond pedal?
