The V5 has strengths that I love, and I still use it for bass. But one of
the V5s weaknesses IMO is that it doesn't respond well to EITHER Midi volume
OR to a volume pedal. I can do more musical things with the CX3 expression
pedal than I ever could do with whatever pedal I used with the V5.
