BW can tell you the part number, but MIDI Solutions makes a simple CV to MIDI interface so that you can use one of the various "expression" pedals on a rig that doesn't have provision for it. I thought about going this route, but went with the Behringer foot controller instead. I assume everybody knows by now that the V5 doesn't respond to CC#11 for expression. So some would say it's not worth it to use a device like this on a V5 rig. I understand, along with all of you, the inherent differences between volume pedal and expression pedal, so this isn't meant as a way to get expression to work, since it won't. Period. I think what Stewart alluded to was the mechanical differences in the Ernie Ball type guitar volume pedals and the Roland EV-5's, etc. This device would allow you to use one of the available "expression" pedals for volume control on the V5. Longer throw and such...
