Subject:Mic choice?

Hi all,

Just starting to use my CX-3 solely on gigs now, and after hearing
it straight into a mackie pa system, (well you all know about the
problems with the thinness of the top octave or two) have decided to
use a modified 145 leslie on it to see if it will slightly fatten
that up a bit. To cut to the chase i need to buy some mics for it,
and as sometimes space is tight on stage, having 3 mic stands round
the leslie can somewhat be quite space dominating. So iv read
somewhere about people using clip on mics in someway but i cant find
the thread. I suppose i can use the standard Shure stuff if i have
too, but can anyone help me with these so called clip on mics and
what theyre like?
