Subject:Bome's MIDI Translator
Thanks to Davide for his hard work on the B4/OB3 mapping. Part of his
solution utilized a private piece of software called Bome's MIDI Translator
and Yahoo doesn't allow program posting without permission from the author.
If we get written permission, then it can be reposted, but has been removed
for the time being. Thanks.

Subject: [CWSG] B4 mapping: all done!
I've just finished complete mapping of ob3 sysex (I haven't only used
effect selector...but soon I'll get a job for it also :) )
In File section you find Bome's midi translator, an *.ini file for this to
place in its directory and a Midiox file.
first put virtually: controller> midi translator> midioyoke1> Midiox>
midiyoke2> b4
I had to use also midi ox because drawbars and 2 other controllers use 2
types of sysex messages for the same controller ( F0.....00 xx F7 and F0
....01 xx F7) so, with midiox I'm able to mix the two flows of messages
(with F0 ....01 xx F7 I controlled one half of a controller and with
F0.....00 xx F7 the second I KNOW it's difficult to understand and it cost
me a sleepless night)
With reverb level you control the microphone bass-treble pot and with bass
switch you control percussion on-off switch. with Ob3 "vibrato and chorus"
pot you can assign 1,2,3 position in B4 "vibrato depth" (not Vibrato mix).
If Deke is the B4 king I SHALL SIT BY HiS RIGHT SIDE, or not!!!
I think I'm the first man in the world... to map B4
my brain boils
