The only difference is that the Electro 2 has a MIDI in LED to indicate when
it is receiving MIDI signal and it has some additional silk-screened info to
depict the expanded clav filtering options. Soundwise and software-wise, an
updated Electro 1 will be the same as an Electro 2.

I think an old Electro with the new os is exactly the same as an Electro
2.

I'm about to buy a second hand electro, is there any difference
between what is now being called Electro 2 and the original electro,
other than the OS which can be upgraded, hardware etc.....
