FYI Be aware that many Keyboard amps and mixers have input impedances of 50K
and less. Most Ernie Ball pedals have 250K audio taper pots that rarely are
adjusted to go "full on" leaving significant resistance to attenuate the
signal. (Motion Sound products are 50K or 100K input impedance). We often
receive calls from users that can not get enough gain to overdrive the tube
which is due to the loss in there analog pedal. Some people have replaced
the 250KA pot with a 5KA pot which then works fine as a volume control.
