Subject:Re: [CWSG]RMI#'s (was Roger Powell (was: YES music, etc.) WOT
I remember when I wrote an article about electric pianos for "Keyboard", a guy from Allen Organ gave me an approximate number of RMI Electric Pianos made (I think he said something like 'over 10,000'). When I called back to do the story on the Keyboard Computers, he said that they had decided they had divulged too much information by giving the number of electric pianos they made. Therefore, I couldn't get any kind of number from him at all. I think he finally aid something like they would be 'pretty rare' or something. My question is, why would a builder of church organs be that careful about revealing the number of combo instruments they made 30 years before?
BTW, anyone know how many RMI keyboard computers were made?
Thanks,
Chris
