My favorite? When the guy says "No, this is how IIII
mic it," and then proceeds to ignore me and stick it
in the center of the top rotor opening. In many
cases, this would be fine (although, how can anyone
devise the CORRECT way to mic EVERY leslie? Just like
guitar amps, they're all different...), but in my
case, because its the Bulldog, everything is smaller,
including the cabinet; thus a mic at the front of the
leslie is now TOO close to the horn and picks up too
much wind noise. But don't try to tell him anything.
