Yes. The guys move all of my stuff for me. Which is why I try to keep it
manageable. If the guys had to move a speakeasy, motion sound type leslie
sim, plus my two keyboards, one module, and my roland ax1, mackie ppm808s
and jbl monitor, plus the stand, theyd probably shoot me. I am trying to
keep it simple as it is. I leave my xv5080 at home for that reason. I am
just trying to maximize what I have and to me, while I love the vk, I want
something more. I love that distorted overdriven organ sound, I love Keith
Emerson and Rick Wakeman and stuff and I just feel like I could use more
than I have with the VK. I thought of the Electro because it doubles up on
other piano sounds and that would be useful, especially if I need the Motif
for synth stuff. To me, something like the V5 is out of bounds due to the
extra need for a leslie sim. I try to keep things small due to people
having to move my stuff and transport my stuff for me, so if I can have the
built in simulator, I'd rather do that. I also don't mess with dual manual
organs for that reason. I am basically thinking vk8, cx3 or electro. I wish
I could try them out somewhere or at least hear some more samples of each.
I have all the electro mp3's from clavia, can somebody point me to cx3 and
vk8 samples? What about that new organ type thing that Roland came out
with, is that anything worth it? I don't know if I would consider it due to
Roland's piano sounds and how I already have all of that with my xv5080,
but if it is something extraordinary, I'd think on that, too. So, please
somebody give me a hand here.
