I like Tony Kay's tone, especially on songs like Yours is no disgrace and
stuff, but to me, Wakeman takes him hands down. Listen to the solo in Close
to the Edge, and of course Roundabout. And Wakeman did synths, better, too.
In the 80s, I loved Kay's writing, but when he tried to cover 70s yes like
Heart of the Sunrise, I cringed.
