Hi Ray,
Let me say I was teasing alittle plus it was 5:45 in the morning. I agree with
all your points and agree that there must be 100% cooperation between band and
soundman. There are also good soundmen and bad soundmen as well as having
their own idea of how a band should be mixed. The soundman who I am working
with now is quite tempramental and feels that keyboards should be mixed
WAAAYYYY back as a filler. I feel they should be sonically along the lines of
the guitar (for the type of music we are playing).
Anyway I don't want to go OT with this, but tell you I do agree with you.

I'll also take this opportunity to tell you ALL how much I appreciate everyone
on this list. There is a nice cross-section of good people here and I look
forward to reading these posts daily.
