Subject:roland organ sounds
Steffan, thanks for the amp advice, I will try that very soon.
SOmeone else here mentioned how the KC-300 amp doesn't sound good
for organ (Dave?). The Roland RD-700 stage piano has a Hammond
simulator built in to it (drawbars, percussion, decay are the only
options). They say it uses the same engine as the VK-7 series, but
it sounds horrible out of my kc-300 amp. Dave, you made it sound
like it's more the amp. Is that the case? I assumed it was the
sound module on the keyboard that was the problem. Maybe it's
both? Do you mean that if I got another amp, it might sound halfway
decent? I wouldn't ever use my RD-700 as a Hammond clone, but just
in case someone asks for a Steppenwolf song or something, it could
be very handy if it sounded ok.
Thanks guys, didn't mean to be too off-topic with my other thread,
Aram
