Silly? Well, I've been called worse here! lol I
wasn't meaning to offend anyone with that, just
mentioning what had evolved (or devolved) in my
experience. I have found that NOT using reverb helps
really put the organ in its own environment as I use
it on all my pianistic sounds. But, I have made a few
recommendations to Lon as for what I think are good
sounding reverbs at sensible prices. If anyone cares,
I or Lon can forward that email to the group.
Obviously, lots of great records had reverb on the
Hammond, and of course, some leslies even have reverb
in them (147rv). Just not my thing is all. And yes, I
could see using reverb on some organ sounds before
wah-wah, but it would be nice to have the option to do
either.
