In the studio, I always add reverb to make it sound like the Leslie is sitting in some kind of acoustic space. Playing live, I never use reverb on a clone just because there is no reverb on a B3 or Leslie (I guess there are Leslies with reverb, but I've never used one).

Subject: [CWSG] HELP -- No reverb?

Esteemed cloner colleagues,

I fired up my new Nord 61 for the 2nd half of our rehearsal last night to
see if it would cut it with the band, and to be sure my ears were already
tuned to the decent sound I believe I get from my XK2/142 rig.

No problem with the basic organic sound ... will take a little tweaking to
get dialed in ... now where is that reverb knob .... it's a little dark in
here and my eyes don't see as well as they used to ... where is that sucker
....

Hey John, could you come over here and find the reverb controls on this
board ... I know there has to be one here somewhere ... but I can't find it
in the dark (John comes over) ... "hey, you've got presence, wah-wah,
flange, ... but I don't see any reverb"

Can it be? You mean all you guys who play this thing play it dry? No
freakin' way!

So what does everyone do to add a touch of the reverb to your Electro organ
sound?

I looked through the manual this morning and I didn't see it mentioned
anywhere.

What to do?

Lon H.
