I love the Tubes! Saw them with Todd Rundgren's Utopia in 1983.
Unbelievable talent. Very pop, but very strong playing with lots of solos and
stage antics. These groups would be considered almost silly or outlandish
today. That's a shame, I really liked their style. I think youth music today
is really harsh and way to sinister (in a not so funny way).
