Subject:Re: Amp problem KC-300 possible solution?
I have a KC-300, but I don't use it for organ. Sounds like crap. No
image, just nothing (compared to the Leslie 822 ;-)).
OK, the KC-300 needs some mods to be bass ready. There are some screws,
that hold the amp in place. Remove them all to pull the amp out. Then
you see, why it's rattling: All cables aren't tied. Grab some dozens
ty-wraps and form the cables to good-looking harnesses. This reduces
the rattlle a lot, if not completely. Furthermore, I cut off the power
cord and installed a three-prong socket instead. Makes carrying much
easier.
I love the KC-300 for its connection option. These line out and
monitoring things are very helpful but it's not an organ amp. Wurlitzer
is great thru it.
hope this helps,
Steffan
