Gotta go 100% with you Tony. Alice was one of the all time greats. He and his
band didn't write tunes, they composed scores. Most everybody else was doing
four chord ditties. Add to that his stage show, put together by magician, The
Amazing Randi, and you had a concert that couldn't be beat. I do agree on a
couple of things though. 1 - He looks awful silly singing "Eighteen"
nowadays. 2 - His music went down hill after they sobered him up. Have a
listen to my all time favorite, Ballad of Dwight Fry/Second Coming. Wonderful
piano work...... "Hell is getting hotter, the devils getting smarter all the
time..."
