Okay, let me compose myself here....

No, they are not the same person. Al Kooper was part
of the Super Sessions, and was also the original
organist with Blood, Sweat & Tears. (Geez, now do I
have to explain who BS&T were?)

Alice Cooper was the lead singer in the band of the
same name. His original name was Vince Furnier. Alice
is still fairly popular these days. "I'm 18" is a
CLASSIC, as is "School's Out". I lost interest when
the original band broke up and Alice went solo, doing
"Only Women Bleed". Ouch.
