A few years ago, I stumbled upon a Kenny Rogers
concert on PBS. I watched it for a few minutes. As
they played through "Islands In The Stream", I was
shocked at how bad the band's time was. They weren't
following the form, the chorus section ended up being
short the first time, long the second, changes were
randomly made, etc.

Then I realized...it wasn't the band...it was KENNY!
The band had to follow HIM! He was ALL OVER THE PLACE
with time and form!

I repented for thinking the band was bad. They were
actually a crack team of guys who had to follow the
singer!!
