I vaguely remember a syndicated TV show called "Rollin" On the River" that
Kenny Rogers and the First Edition hosted back in the 70's. Had nothing to
do with "Proud Mary", LOL.

I also remember him being on American Bandstand and Dick Clark asking about
his earring as he was looking quite "scary hippie" at the time, haha. His
son might have been on there too in the audience interview and had an
earring too.

You must have tapped a memory bank here. I haven't thought about this in
years.
