Subject:nord electro/(korg) expression pedal question

hi there,I´m new here.I`m a keyboardplayer from germany.I am just about
replacing my voce micro B/Hughes+kettner tubeman/echolette leslie combo with
a nord electro 61.I need a controller pedal for volume control(for the
electro).Still have a korg expression I used to hook up to my korg x3 years
ago.I searched archives and found some threads about roland/yamaha
pedals/polarity and so on. the korg pedal has wrong polarity to be used with
the electro so I changed it temporarily using Y-cords. there is a trim poti
on the korg controller, but it doesn`t seem to have any effect with the
electro.problem: basically the pedal seems to work having changed
polarity, but the volume doesn`t go all the waydown to zero closing the
pedal.if I remember correctly,volume isn`t supposed to go down to zero,but
for my taste volume doesn`t go down low enough with the korg/electro
combination.might there be a problem with the resistors or potis of the korg
not being compatible with the electro ?or are the resistors the same on all
brand expression pedals ? In case it will not work I just buy a roland or
yamaha, but I first would like to try to get working the korg I already
got(since I`m broke now having prchased the nord electro:)). any comments
much appreciated, thanks a lot in advance
